About Joost Vogelezang

I have over 25 years of management experience in software and consulting companies, holding a variety of roles where customers, processes, and growth were always central.

As Vice President and member of the international senior leadership team, I led the global support organization: 250 employees serving 30,000 customers. In that role, I also implemented the Customer Success process, which significantly improved customer satisfaction and retention.

I've also successfully sold my own company twice and overseen more than twenty international acquisitions, from due diligence to the full integration of organizations with 30 to 600 employees. As a result, I understand how strategy, processes, and people must come together to make companies stronger and future-proof.

Today, I'm COO at finstory, a startup that uses AI to innovate financial reporting and storytelling. I combine my background in management and consulting with my interest in technology. For me, AI isn't a buzzword; it's a practical way to accelerate decision-making, improve products, and better serve customers.

My approach combines analysis and data with a focus on people. I delve into organizations and processes, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that changes actually work. At the same time, I look at the teams themselves: whether people are in the right place and how collaboration can be strengthened.

My strength lies in connecting strategy and structure with practical improvements and the possibilities of AI — always focused on growth and sustainable results.

With over 25 years of experience in software and consulting, I've seen many organizations grow and transform. I've sold two of my own companies and guided over twenty international acquisitions—from due diligence to integration—at companies with 30 to 600 employees.
